From being bedridden with female pelvic pain to running my own business thanks to Lisa Hastie.
"I woke up one morning with severe inflammation on my right hand side of my abdomen and pelvis and the initial diagnosis at A&E was appendicitis and they were going to operate. This turned out not to be the case but the pain continued and for over 12 months i was bed ridden with severe pelvic and lower abdominal pain.   Nearly 2 years down the line and many tests later i still haven't had a diagnosis or found out what caused the infection.   The aftermath of my problem lead to very tight muscles so bad initially that i couldn't lay on my back in bed.   Somebody happened to mention pelvic therapy to me which I had never heard of and fortunately I rang the Birmingham Women’s Health Physiotherapy clinic in Harborne and found Lisa who has been wonderful. Her naturally warm personality automatically puts you at ease. She never gets fed up of my many questions and her knowledge is amazing".   Life is so much better now and I am no longer bedridden but well enough to start my own business.   SB
