DAN HOUTEN

Dan Initially graduated as a sports therapist and then progressed to completing an MSc in Physiotherapy at university of Birmingham. This unique combination gives Dan lots of experience and expertise in sports rehab, injury management and getting sporting and non-sporting people back to pain free activity. Dan understands rehab and sport to a high level.

Dan has top level experience within professional academy football, professional rugby and Team GB ultimate frisbee. Brilliant with the sports people and the weekend warriors but also brilliant at working with the general public to achieve their goals and reduce their pain. Outside the clinic Dan works in the NHS as a highly specialist Musculoskeletal physiotherapist at Sandwell and West Birmingham Trust and he has also just started an MSc in even further advanced practice physiotherapy in Birmingham University.

Dan has a special interest in myofascial taping, strength and conditioning and exercise prescription, peripheral and spinal mobilisations and acupuncture. He has a wide range of experience & expertise of assessing and treating acute and chronic conditions.

Outside of physiotherapy Dan is a passionate West Bromwich Albion fan regularly attending matches and he is an avid runner and gym goer. He also has a keen interest in clothing fashion and regularly attends fashion shows and releases.
