Highly Experienced Sports Physiotherapist:
Josh initially was a key member of the Barefoot Physio clinic team as he worked for several years with us before spending a few years working and travelling in Australia and New Zealand. Josh returned to us in 2022 and `both patients and the Barefoot yogis and physio clinic team were glad to see him back.
Josh has extensive experience working in elite sport both at academy and senior level in premiership football. He currently works fulltime in the premiership with Wolves, and he takes this experience into his work at Barefoot. He is very experienced also with treating the young sports person. Josh’s day to day sports injury and rehab work has established him as a very experienced and skilled sports injury physio from elite to weekend warrior to recreational level. Whether it’s running, netball, cycling , triathlon, golf, football or another sport or activity Josh will work our what is going on and get you back to it.
Josh has a wealth of experience in musculoskeletal and sports Physiotherapy. He started his career in the NHS rotating the key areas before he progressed to a Senior level at the prestigious Royal Orthopaedic Hospital here in Birmingham. The broad patient exposure within the NHS has taught Josh invaluable assessment, diagnostic and treatment skills.
Alongside his NHS work, Josh has worked in professional football and Rugby in Australia, New Zealand and now continues his sporting career working within the Wolverhampton Wanderers football club academy managing aspiring footballers reach their potential.
Due to this exposure, Josh has a keen interest in the lower limb but also has an interest in spinal and shoulder pain.
Josh prides himself on his comprehensive and thorough approach leaving no stone unturned to find the root cause of your pain.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and continues to be a keen skier and aspiring golfer!
